    Keep it together. She's watching.    .    .    .    Natsu was rarely ever unsure of himself or his comrades. However these last couple of days had taken their toll on his trust in Gajeel and, to a certain extent, himself. He kept telling himself that he would never lose control of himself like the other Dragonslayer did but at the same time he still had doubts.    But now wasn't really the time for any of that.    For the first time in what seemed like ages, Natsu felt strangely at ease. He had an enemy in front of him that he could fight and beat. Straightforward, easy no need to sweat any details. No need for any hesitation.

The redhead stood silent, unable to come up with any sort of response.    They'd been anticipating a battle but it seemed someone else had beaten them to it. Erza narrowed her eyes as she studied the scene before them. The bodies were definitely...disturbing but what really caught her eye was an ominous looking spire that looked as if it had been carved from some strange dark stone.        Lucy whirled around and saw the small figure of Lacey at the end of the hall right as the girl laughed manically. "Sister is going to be so happy with me." she giggled again right before she suddenly took off, running straight at them.    "Shit." Lucy heard Gajeel growl right as she felt Levy's small form being dumped onto her back. "Hold on to her for a sec."     "Do we really have to do this?" Ez muttered anxiously to his partner, Arthur, as they walked through a long dark corridor.    Arthur nodded, "Yes, Churme's orders. We have an escaped prisoner and a madman running around out there," he gestured towards the wide window next to them that overlooked the forest of Wyvere. "And there's a good chance they'll be back."    Ez shuddered, "Exactly why we shouldn't be doing this.     The next couple of days at the household had been...strange.    The morning after Churme's sudden arrival, Cristalla and Crystal had come home from town. At first they'd both been wary of him but after they had a private discussion with the man, leaving Lufu to look after the children, they came back with beaming smiles and gave him a warm welcome.    To summarize, despite Lufu's repeated warnings Churme was allowed to stay until he was ready to leave. (Gajeels POV)    Gajeel sat at his usual table in the guild hall munching on a pile of shrapnel with a bored expression on his face. He hadn't been on a job in a few days but he couldn't just leave and go on one.     Levy woke up with a start to the sound of a shrill voice yelling something that Levy was too tired to process.    She sleepily rubbed her eyes and looked around, trying to get her bearings while the voice kept shouting something over and over again.    She saw that she was slumped down on a cushioned bench and she was on...a train?    Her eyes widened with realization, that was right.
